Getting Ready for Field Work 2024

It’s that time of year again!

Though we submit field work permits months ago for the 2024 Field Work season, we spend the majority of March and April in the “compiling and packing and organizing of gear” phase; it is happening right now!

Before you head into the field, here are a few documents and protocols for field crews to review and train before you expect them to spend 10+ hours in the field. Now is when you can get prepared for hours in the elements including getting physically fit, ensure you have the correct clothes for sun and insect protection, and double check your lodging arrangements.
